January / February Newsletter

Happy New Year, Happy Valentines day, Happy spring is almost here. This year has started off with a bang and has kept me quite busy so far. There is lots of activity quoting and we are getting some business too! Thank you. I've been so busy that I've neglected my on-line friends and have dropped the ball with my monthly newsletters and for that I am sorry. To make it up to you I'll make this newsletter with TWICE the information. Sounds good?

What's New

76" Mid Roof Sleeper

I'll start off by doing a review of what Kenworth has to offer now and just around the corner. Last year Kenworth started production on the new 76" Mid Roof Sleeper available on the T880 and T680 cabs. This new mid roof options provides an extremely roomy and comfortable cab for flat deck, tank haul or grain haul customers. This new sleeper configuration compliments the 76" high roof and 52" mid roof sleepers unveiled over the past few years. To see what the interior looks like watch the youtube video below:

PACCAR MX-11

Another thing to review is our new Paccar MX11 engine. This engine started prodcution January 2016 to serve the regional, city and vocational markets. This engine has hp ranges from 355 to 430 and torque ratings form 1250-1450. This new engine has the same life expectancy of its big brother (MX-13) which is a B10 rating of 1,000,000 miles. It's lighter weight which will maximize your payload.

40" Flat Top

Available next month the 40" sleeper starts in full production. This new sleeper is a great choice for regional haul, logging, oil field, construction and city markets. With the T880 offering a daycab, 40", 52" and 76" mid roof options is the most customizable option we have available in the new cab design.

Next month I will focus on 2017 emissions and the changes that it will bring. For more information or if you would like a topic discussed please comment below or contact me.
